Gutenverse WordPress Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Gutenverse WordPress plugin, specifically in the countdown block. This issue affects all versions up to and including 2.2.1. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the affected page.
