MODX Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in MODX versions prior to 3.1.0. This issue allows authenticated users to upload SVG files containing malicious JavaScript as profile images. The injected script is executed in the browsers of users who view the profile image.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where malicious scripts are executed in the context of the user's browser.
