Intel 700 Series Ethernet Drivers Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel-mode driver for Intel 700 Series Ethernet, prior to version 2.28.5. This vulnerability involves improper input validation, which may allow an authenticated user to escalate privileges through local access.
