Android Framework Emergency Call Denial-of-Service Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A logic error in the Android Framework allows a malicious app to interfere with emergency calls under certain conditions. This vulnerability can cause a local denial-of-service, preventing calls to emergency services until the device is rebooted. No additional privileges are required for exploitation, and user interaction is not necessary.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to a local denial-of-service condition, causing the device to be unable to make emergency calls until it is restarted.
Remediation
Devices can be updated to the April 2025 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
