A deadlock vulnerability has been identified and resolved in the Linux kernel's handling of DisplayPort for Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC. The issue arose in the 'zynqmp_dp_ignore_hpd_set()' function, where the same mutex was attempted to be locked twice, leading to a deadlock. This vulnerability was detected by the Clang thread-safety analyzer.
Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to a deadlock situation, causing the system to become unresponsive or to hang indefinitely while waiting for a resource to become available.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
