An elevation of privilege vulnerability has been identified in the Windows Cloud Files Mini Filter Driver. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain SYSTEM privileges. It affects multiple versions of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2022 and 2019.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized elevation of privileges, allowing an attacker to gain SYSTEM rights.

Remediation

Users can apply the security update KB5049981 for Windows 10 and KB5050008 for Windows Server 2019. For Windows Server 2022, the security update is KB5049983.
