Intel Tiber Edge Platform Edge Orchestrator Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A protection mechanism failure vulnerability has been identified in some Edge Orchestrator software for the Intel Tiber Edge Platform. This vulnerability may allow an authenticated user to escalate privileges through local access.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized privilege escalation.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the Edge Orchestrator software to version 24.11 or later. For Intel Tiber Edge Platform, updates are available through the Intel Edge Orchestrator AWS Deployment Guide or the Intel Edge Orchestrator On-Prem Deployment Guide.
