Samsung Mobile ImsService Improper Intent Verification Vulnerability Allowing SIM Disabling
Vulnerability
A vulnerability exists in the ImsService component of Samsung Mobile devices, prior to the September 2025 Security Maintenance Release. This vulnerability allows local attackers to temporarily disable the SIM card by exploiting improper verification of intents by the broadcast receiver.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a temporary disruption of SIM card functionality, causing interruptions in mobile service.
Remediation
Users can apply the September 2025 Security Maintenance Release to address this vulnerability.
