Intel Tiber Edge Platform Edge Orchestrator Improper Access Control Vulnerability Allowing Privilege Escalation

A vulnerability exists in some Edge Orchestrator software for the Intel Tiber Edge Platform, prior to version 24.11, that improperly controls access. This flaw may allow an unauthenticated user to escalate privileges by exploiting adjacent access.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized privilege escalation.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the Edge Orchestrator software to version 24.11 or later. The update is available for download from the Intel Edge Developer Center.
