Intel Graphics Drivers Improper Link Resolution Vulnerability Allowing Privilege Escalation

A vulnerability exists in some Intel Graphics Driver software installers due to improper link resolution before file access. This 'link following' issue may allow an authenticated user to escalate privileges through local access.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Intel Graphics Drivers for Intel Arc graphics and Intel Iris Xe graphics to version 32.0.101.6449/32.0.101.6256 or later. For Intel Arc Pro graphics, update to version 32.0.101.6303 or later. For Intel Data Center GPU Flex Series, update to version 32.0.101.6314 or later. For the 7th-10th Gen Intel Core processor family and related Intel Atom, Pentium, and Celeron processors, update to version 31.0.101.2134 or later.
