- <= 4.4.10
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the AppPresser Mobile App Framework plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 4.4.10. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. When logging is enabled, these scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the affected page.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
To reproduce this vulnerability, upload a script to the WordPress site that exploits the cross-site scripting vulnerability. Then, navigate to the 'Log' tab in the AppPresser settings. Here, the injected script will be executed, demonstrating the cross-site scripting vulnerability.
Users are advised to update the AppPresser Mobile App Framework plugin to version 4.4.11 or later.
