A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Campcodes Supplier Management System version 1.0. The issue arises in the admin/view_products.php file, where the chkId[] parameter is manipulated, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized database access, data modification or deletion, and exposure of sensitive information.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, which could lead to unauthorized database access, manipulation or deletion of data, and exposure of sensitive information.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a POST request to the admin/view_products.php page with the chkId[] parameter. The request can include a payload that exploits the SQL injection vulnerability, such as a time-based blind SQL injection payload that uses the SQL SLEEP function to demonstrate the injection.
It is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
