My Album Gallery Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the My Album Gallery plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.0.4. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of the 'attachment->title' attribute. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which are executed when users access the affected page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with Author-level access or higher can upload an image and inject a script into the image title. Once the image is saved, the injected script will execute when the image is viewed on the site.
