CoSign Single Signon WordPress Plugin Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the CoSign Single Signon plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 0.3.1. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the '$_SERVER["PHP_SELF"]' parameter. These injected scripts could be executed if the attacker successfully persuades a user to click on a link or perform a similar action.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.
