Xpro Addons for Elementor Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Xpro Addons - 140+ Widgets for Elementor plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.4.20. The vulnerability arises in the Pricing Widget's 'onClick Event' setting, where inadequate input sanitization and output escaping allow authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts execute when a user accesses the compromised page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the plugin to version 1.4.21 or a newer patched version.
