Just Highlight WordPress Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Just Highlight WordPress plugin, affecting all versions up to and including 1.0.3. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the plugin's settings page.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with administrator privileges can navigate to the Just Highlight plugin's settings page. From there, they can inject a script into the 'Highlight Color' setting, which will be executed whenever the page is accessed.
