FantasticLBP Hotels_Server
cpe:2.3:a:hotels_server_project:hotels_server:*:*:*:*:*:*:*
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the FantasticLBP Hotels Server hotel management system, specifically in the file controller/api/hotelList.php. This vulnerability affects the current release version 1.0, prior to the commit 67b44df162fab26df209bd5d5d542875fcbec1d0. The issue arises from inadequate validation of user input in the 'subjectId' and 'cityName' parameters, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication or authorization.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows unauthorized access to the database, manipulation of data, leakage of sensitive information, and potential disruption of services.
The vulnerability can be reproduced by sending a POST request to 'controller/api/hotelList.php' with injected SQL payloads in the 'subjectId' or 'cityName' parameters. This can be done using tools like sqlmap, which automates the process of finding and exploiting SQL injection vulnerabilities.
It is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
