A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Enable SVG, WebP, and ICO Upload plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.1.2. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts execute whenever a user accesses the SVG file.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the SVG file.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
