A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in OpenText Vertica. This issue arises from improper input neutralization during web page generation, allowing for the injection of malicious scripts that could be executed in the context of the user. The vulnerability affects several versions of OpenText Vertica, including 10.0 through 10.X, 11.0 through 11.X, 12.0 through 12.X, 23.0 through 23.X, 24.0 through 24.X, 25.1.0 through 25.1.X, 25.2.0 through 25.2.X, and 25.3.0 through 25.3.X.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to reflected cross-site scripting in the Vertica management console application.

Remediation

Users of OpenText Vertica should upgrade to version 25.4.0-0 or later. For versions prior to 25.4.x, customers need to upgrade to Vertica 25.4.0-0 or later.
