Table Field Add-on for ACF and SCF Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Table Field Add-on for ACF and SCF plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.3.30. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Author-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into table cell content. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the affected page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the plugin to version 1.3.31 or a newer patched version.
