WP Carticon Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability for WordPress

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WP Carticon plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.0.0. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts would execute when a user accesses the compromised page. This vulnerability is present only in multi-site installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
