GitLab CE/EE ActionCable Personal Access Token Revocation Bypass Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in GitLab CE/EE versions 16.11 prior to 17.6.5, 17.7 prior to 17.7.4, and 17.8 prior to 17.8.2. This issue allows long-lived connections in ActionCable to access streaming results using revoked Personal Access Tokens.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to streaming data via ActionCable, using revoked Personal Access Tokens.
