A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Bg Book Publisher plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.25. The issue arises from the plugin's failure to properly sanitize the 'book_author' post meta before displaying it via the '[book_author]' shortcode. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which are executed when users view the affected pages.
