A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Oboxmedia Ads plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.9.8. The issue arises in the 'before_widget' and 'after_widget' parameters of the 'oboxads-ad-widget' shortcode, where inadequate input sanitization and output escaping allow authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts are executed when users access the affected pages.
