Omnichannel for WooCommerce Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Omnichannel for WooCommerce: Google, Amazon, eBay & Walmart Integration – Powered by Codisto plugin, affecting all versions through 1.3.65. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the sync() function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the compromised page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Reproduction

The vulnerability can be reproduced by sending a request to the WordPress site with the injected script via the Codisto sync route. This can be done by using the WordPress admin interface to upload a file or through a direct API call that bypasses the usual WordPress security checks.
