Mozilla Firefox Black Screen Vulnerability in Android Card View

Vulnerability

A vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox for Android prior to version 144 causes the app to display a black screen in the card carousel when a password-related screen was last active. This issue arises because, in versions prior to Firefox 144, the password edit screen was visible. The vulnerability disrupts the normal app-switching experience by failing to properly represent the application's state.

Impact

This vulnerability can lead to a poor user experience by causing confusion when switching between apps, as Firefox does not accurately display its last active screen.

Remediation

Users can update to Firefox version 144 or later to address this vulnerability.
