A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Five Star Restaurant Reservations WordPress Booking Plugin, affecting all versions through 2.7.5. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the 'rtb-name' parameter. These injected scripts are executed when users access the affected pages.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
Users are advised to update the plugin to version 2.7.7 or a newer patched version.
