Tipray Data Leakage Prevention System SQL Injection Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Tipray Data Leakage Prevention System version 1.0. The issue arises in the 'findRolePage' function of the 'findSingConfigPage.do' file, where the 'sort' argument can be manipulated to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without authentication, and is accompanied by a publicly available exploit.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, where an attacker can interfere with the application's database queries. This could lead to unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or in some cases, executing administrative operations on the database.
Reproduction
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a POST request to the 'findSingConfigPage.do' endpoint with a 'sort' parameter that includes a crafted SQL payload. The request should be made without authentication, and the injected SQL code can be designed to, for example, cause a time delay, confirming the successful exploitation of the vulnerability.
