Tipray Data Leakage Prevention System SQL Injection Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Tipray Data Leakage Prevention System version 1.0. The issue arises in the 'findRolePage' function within the 'findRolePage.do' file, where user-controllable input in the 'sort' parameter is not properly sanitized, allowing for malicious SQL code to be executed. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication requirements.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, where an attacker can manipulate database queries. This could lead to unauthorized data access, data modification, or in some cases, executing administrative operations on the database.
Reproduction
The vulnerability can be reproduced by sending a POST request to the 'findRolePage.do' endpoint. The 'sort' parameter should be manipulated to include a crafted SQL payload, such as a time-based blind SQL injection payload that exploits the application's SQL query handling.
