GitLab CE/EE Denial-of-Service Vulnerability in Import Functionality

Vulnerability

A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) versions 8.3 prior to 18.5.5, 18.6 prior to 18.6.3, and 18.7 prior to 18.7.1. This vulnerability allowed authenticated users to create a denial-of-service condition by sending crafted responses to external API calls, potentially disrupting normal service operations.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing disruptions in service availability.

Remediation
