Mozilla Focus for iOS Contextual Menu Link Handling Vulnerability Allowing Website Spoofing
Vulnerability
A vulnerability in Mozilla Focus for iOS versions prior to 143.0 allows for website spoofing. When links are opened through the contextual menu for certain URL schemes, the browser fails to load the page properly and does not refresh the toolbar. This issue could be exploited if a user is manipulated into long-pressing a link to open it.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to website spoofing, where an attacker could present a fraudulent version of a website to the user.
Remediation
Users can update to Mozilla Focus for iOS version 143.0 or later to address this vulnerability.
