GitLab CE/EE Denial-of-Service Vulnerability in Token Listing Operations

Vulnerability

A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) versions 10.7 prior to 18.1.6, 18.2 prior to 18.2.6, and 18.3 prior to 18.3.2. This vulnerability allowed authenticated users to disrupt access to token listings and related administrative functions by creating tokens with excessively large names.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could have led to a persistent denial-of-service condition, disrupting token management and related administrative operations for users on the affected GitLab instance.

Remediation
