A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the D-Link DIR-825 router, specifically in version 1.08.01. The issue arises in the HTTP component, within the 'ping6_response.cg' file, in the 'get_ping6_app_stat' function. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely by manipulating the 'ping6_ipaddr' argument. This issue affects products that are no longer supported by the manufacturer.
