A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the SuperSaaS online appointment scheduling WordPress plugin, affecting all versions through 2.1.12. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the affected page, with the vulnerability limited to Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome, Edge, and Brave.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with Contributor-level access or higher can inject scripts via the 'after' parameter. The injected scripts will be executed when the page is accessed by any user, but only in Chromium-based browsers.
Users are advised to update the SuperSaaS appointment scheduling plugin to version 2.1.13 or later.
