IBM Cloud Pak for Data Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in IBM Cloud Pak for Data versions 4.0.0 through 4.8.5 and 5.0.0. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the Web UI, potentially altering functionality and leading to credential disclosure within a trusted session.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in cross-site scripting, allowing for the injection and execution of malicious scripts in the context of the user's session.

Remediation
