Devolutions Server Improper Access Control Vulnerability in Permissions Component

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the permissions component of Devolutions Server in versions through 2025.1.10.0. This issue allows an authenticated user to bypass the 'Edit permission' requirement by evading client-side validation. As a result, users could manipulate permissions without proper authorization.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized permission changes, allowing users to gain elevated rights or access they should not have.

Remediation

Users are advised to upgrade to Devolutions Server version 2025.2.2.0 or higher.
