AMD Versal Adaptive SoC Incorrect Runtime Cryptographic Configuration Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in AMD Versal Adaptive SoC devices due to improper configuration of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) during runtime cryptographic operations, after the initial boot process. This misconfiguration may lead to data being inaccurately written to and read from invalid memory locations, resulting in the return of incorrect cryptographic information.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could cause cryptographic operations to fail, with potential implications for data integrity and security, as incorrect cryptographic data could be used in secure communications or data storage.
