A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in MISP versions prior to 2.4.193. This issue arises because the 'menu_custom_right_link_html' parameter can be set through the user interface, allowing admin users to inject malicious JavaScript that is executed on every page. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 2.4.193.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user's browser.
Users can upgrade to MISP version 2.4.193 to address this vulnerability.
