IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms Cross-Site Request Forgery Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms versions 9.1 and 11.1. This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform malicious and unauthorized actions by exploiting the trust that the application has in a user's session.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized actions being performed on behalf of a trusted user.

Remediation

Users are advised to upgrade to version 9.1 or 11.1. Instructions for downloading the update are available on the IBM Fix Central website.
