Vaultwarden Authenticated Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Vaultwarden version 1.32.5. This issue allows authenticated users to inject malicious scripts via the API core module.

Impact

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user can send a request to the '/api/core/mod.rs' component with a payload that includes the injected script. The script will be executed in the user's browser, demonstrating the cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Remediation

Users are advised to update to Vaultwarden version 1.32.5 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
