Synology Router Manager Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in NTP Region Functionality

Vulnerability

A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the NTP Region functionality of Synology Router Manager (SRM) versions prior to 1.3.1-9346-11. This vulnerability allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML through unspecified vectors.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

Users are advised to upgrade to Synology Router Manager version 1.3.1-9346-11 or above.
