Synology Router Manager Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in VPN Settings

Vulnerability

A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the VPN Settings functionality of Synology Router Manager (SRM) versions prior to 1.3.1-9346-11. This vulnerability allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML through unspecified vectors.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to Synology Router Manager version 1.3.1-9346-11 or above to address this vulnerability.
