Intel Endurance Gaming Mode Software Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A vulnerability allowing privilege escalation has been identified in some Endurance Gaming Mode software installers. Incorrect default permissions may enable an authenticated user to exploit this issue through local access. This vulnerability affects Endurance Gaming Mode software prior to version 1.5.651.0 and Intel Graphics Driver software prior to version 32.0.101.6083.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Endurance Gaming Mode software to version 1.5.651.0 or later. Updates are available for download from the Intel Download Center.
