A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in PHPGurukul Complaint Management System version 2.0. The issue arises in the 'between-date-userreport.php' file, where the 'fromdate' and 'todate' parameters can be manipulated to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability allows attackers to interfere with the application's database queries, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or modification.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, where an attacker can manipulate database queries. This could lead to unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or in some cases, executing administrative operations on the database.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to 'between-date-userreport.php' with crafted 'fromdate' and 'todate' parameters that include SQL injection payloads. A time-based payload, such as 'sleep(10)', can be used to demonstrate the injection by causing a delay in the server's response.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
