Intel Ethernet Connection I219 Series Improper Access Control Vulnerability Allowing Denial-of-Service
Vulnerability
A vulnerability exists in some drivers for Intel Ethernet Connection I219 Series, prior to version 12.19.1.39, due to improper access control. This vulnerability may allow an authenticated user to cause a denial-of-service condition through local access.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing the system to become unresponsive or unavailable.
Remediation
Users are advised to update the Intel Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack to version 28.2 or later. The update is available for download from the Intel Download Center.
