Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi and Killer WiFi Improper Communication Channel Restriction Vulnerability Allowing Information Disclosure

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in some Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi and Killer WiFi software for Windows, prior to version 23.80. The issue arises from improper restriction of communication channels to intended endpoints, which may allow an unauthenticated user to disclose information through adjacent access.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized information disclosure.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi software to version 23.80 or later. The latest version can be downloaded from the Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Windows 10 and Windows 11 page.
