Intel Graphics Driver Improper Access Control Vulnerability Allowing Privilege Escalation
Vulnerability
A vulnerability exists in some Intel Graphics Driver software installers due to improper access control. This flaw may enable an authenticated user to escalate privileges through local access. The issue affects various Intel Graphics drivers for Windows, including those for Intel Core processors from the 7th to 10th generation, as well as Intel Arc and Iris Xe Graphics drivers. The vulnerability is present in Intel Data Center GPU Flex Series drivers for Windows, prior to version 31.0.101.5768.

Users are advised to update their Intel Graphics Drivers to the latest versions. For Intel 7th-10th Gen Processor Graphics, update to version 31.0.101.2130 or later. For Intel Arc and Iris Xe Graphics, update to version 31.0.101.5768 or later. For Intel Arc Pro Graphics, update to version 31.0.101.5978 or later. For Intel Data Center GPU Flex Series, update to version 31.0.101.5768 or later.
