Intel UEFI Firmware Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the UEFI firmware of certain Intel processors due to improper buffer restrictions. This flaw may allow a privileged user to escalate privileges through local access. Affected products include 4th and 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, as well as Intel Xeon W processors in the 2400 and 3400 series.
