A vulnerability exists in some Intel Graphics Driver installers due to incorrect default permissions. This flaw may allow an authenticated user to escalate privileges through local access.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized privilege escalation.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Intel Graphics Driver for 7th-10th Gen Processors to version 31.0.101.2130 or later. For Intel Arc and Iris Xe Graphics, update to version 32.0.101.6083/32.0.101.5736 or later. Intel Data Center GPU Flex Series users should update to version 31.0.101.4314 or later.
