Intel Arc GPU Denial-of-Service Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in some Intel Arc GPUs, including the A-Series and Pro A-Series graphics. This issue arises from improper condition checks, which may allow an authenticated user to disrupt service via local access. Affected products include Intel Arc A-Series graphics prior to version 31.0.101.3277 and Intel Arc Pro A-Series graphics prior to version 30.0.101.1729.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing the system to become unresponsive or unavailable.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Intel Arc A-Series graphics software to version 31.0.101.3277 or later. For Intel Arc Pro A-Series graphics, update to version 30.0.101.1729 or later. These updates are available for download from the Intel Download Center.
